Established in 1973, the Moratuwa Training centre is the first training centre of SLT. The training Centre is located, in Horethuduwa along Old Galle Road and is easily accessible from Kalutara, Piliyandala and Colombo.

Moratuwa Training Centre has all required facilities including Laboratories , Classrooms, Auditorium, Library and Administration office. It also has a hostel and Playground facilities for Cricket, Volley Ball, Badminton and indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carom and Chess’. Gymnasium also available for students use.
